Sarah Grace is a talented and passionate vocalist with a diverse background in music and performance. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance with a minor in General Business at Grand Valley State University. Throughout her academic journey, she demonstrates exceptional dedication to her art and education.
In 2017, Sarah Grace embarked on a challenging medical journey after being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Despite facing multiple instances of gaslighting, Sarah Grace found solace and truth in music. She advocated for herself with unwavering determination and eventually connected with a doctor at The National Institute of Health. This doctor not only cleared his mind of any biases and listened attentively but also made groundbreaking strides in medicine by recognizing that a female with XIAP-2 Deficiency could experience symptoms similar to a male with the same condition.
While Sarah Grace's medical journey has been undeniably difficult since 2017, it has also revealed hidden treasures along the way. One such gem is her newfound passion for giving back and using the gift of music to help others. In her quest to make a difference, Sarah Grace reached out to the Histiocytosis Association, offering her original song 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now' for any future projects they may have had in mind. The association not only used the song as part of their Histio Live Campaign, which premiered in December 2020, but that following September, they also invited Sarah Grace to perform it and share her story as an HLH survivor at their 32nd Annual Benefit Dinner hosted by Saudi Petroleum in New York City.
Sarah Grace's journey has taught her the power of music in uplifting and inspiring others. With her resilient spirit and deep desire to make a positive impact, she continues to use her voice and talent to advocate for those facing similar challenges while encouraging those around her to do the same. Through her heartfelt performances and candid storytelling, Sarah Grace aims to raise awareness, spread hope, and contribute to the greater cause of supporting individuals affected by Histio-related conditions and other life-threatening illnesses.
